Master Bathroom Reimagined

Challenge: A bathroom with a large tub, seldom used, and a small shower that seemed like an afterthought to the original plan was in need of a more functional layout. The client longed for a serene master bathroom retreat that gave her ample space for everyday rituals and storage.

Approach: The removal of the tub enabled the shower to take center stage in the room. The use of flanking cabinetry to frame the shower, created wonderful areas to store personal items and highlight decorative elements like lighting and custom framed beveled mirrors. Conscious of the client’s artistic background and sensitivity to colour, we moved towards a rich wall colour and a warm cabinetry stain.  Counter and tiles cast light in the room through texture and lighter tones.

Result: Gentle warmth and colour, simple textures and everything in its place: all a girl needs for a relaxing start and end to her day.
